At Challenge to Change, we believe that the power of the mind is our greatest asset to help us achieve our potential and overcome our difficulties. This is why we started Challenge to Change to empower women and provide them with coping mechanisms for life’s daily challenges, as well as during times of stress and trauma. Through various programs and initiatives, we focus on mental wellness, life skills, problem solving, as well as providing inspiration and support.
Challenge to Change was born out of a strong, genuine desire, and need to enhance and enrich the lives of Arab women - especially those affected by conflict in the Middle East.
We focus on two main goals:
Addressing emotional and psychological barriers. Our mission is to create a community of Arab women who are resilient and can cope with life’s challenges by overcoming emotional and psychological barriers from within. We want to help women lead a better, fuller and richer life hence making a positive impact in their communities.
Achieve personal goals. We exist to help women be the best version of themselves, and contribute to a better society. We do that by helping them become aware and improve their mental wellbeing, provide a support network to help them awaken their true potential, give them tools to help them set solid goals and achieve their objectives.
Essentially, Challenge to Change is a mentoring and support platform. We bring together women who have professional, social and / or life experiences and help them share their learnings with young women who could be university students, or just starting out in their career, or simply who have other social, psychological or emotional needs.
Now more than ever, we need to connect as a community of like-minded individuals and corporations to help solve some of the most pressing issues facing society and our region today. And we believe the best place to start is with individuals, and specifically with their mental wellness and resilience.
